New toys from Google

October 19, 2006

I’ve just discovered some new toys from google that you can use to make your blog or website more interactive. They’re free so check them out by going to the website.

I’m getting kind of annoyed by all of these “Adsense is Dead, No adsense is Alive” people, so I started looking for other ways to make money with my blog besides just slapping up some adsense ads. Here’s what I came up with:

  • Sell adspace on your blog yourself or you can use another link broker such as linkworth
  • Use your blog as a way to build your expertise in a particular niche so you can get speaking gigs
  • Become an affiliate for products that are relevant to your niche.
  • Sell seats to your teleclasses and workshops(you are holding teleclasses and workshops, right?)

Those are just a few of the ways that I’ve come up with. Check this blog for more strategies to make money with your small business.

I for one have decided to explore some of the other text based advertising sites for my other website simply because I don’t like the fact that Google wants a monopoly of my web real estate. However, I felt like it would be only fair to show both sides of the adsense story, so here is a report that claims that Adsense is alive… As usual download the report and make your own decision. As you will notice, I don’t even make you give me your email address. You can download the report right from my blog by clicking on the Adsense is Alive Link. Isn’t that nice of me? Adsense Is Alive
