I’m experimenting with hosting my blog on my own domain. It’s living at http://www.deannaspencer.com/blog
I’ve been trying to come up with an easy way to get rid of the nofollow tag. So far I’ve added the follow plugin, but I don’t know how to remove the nofollow tag without screwing up my blog. So for right now it’s staying as is until I can think of something else.

Provide DBA support for establishing, upgrading and maintaining Oracle databases for development, test and production environments, including performing migrations and upgrades
•Responsible for setting up instances, tablespaces, tables, indices and views.
•Manage database configuration and tuning; follow best practices for enterprise database monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance
•Monitor error log(s), database and log space, user activity and resource utilization
•Monitor database server system resources to ensure production systems meet availability requirements and hardware enhancements are scheduled in a timely fashion.
•Act as escalation point for Tier 1&2 support engineers on database issues
•Provide expert assistance in SQL statement tuning to improve performance.
•Write and tune batch processes & procedures while ensuring data integrity.
•Monitor OS UNIX performance and suggest tuning as applicable to the database environment
•Write and modify complex UNIX shell scripts to manage a Oracle environment and other application processes
•Manage backup/recovery processes
•Monitor database performance and space growth; perform impact analysis and structure design of system changes

8+ years needed
-Oracle SQL
8+ years needed
-PL/SQL

-Ability to perform DBA activities without the use of tools
3-5 years need
-Hands on knowledge of UNIX, preferably HPUX

-Understanding of enterprise hardware storage solutions

I have been receiving a lot of inquiries lately about my virtual assistant business. I even secured a client who found me through the search engine.
